You quantify functional vision in terms of the contrast sensitivity of the spatial frequencies, the gratings, of different sizes. This gives you a curve. You then can show this quantity in terms of picture quality so you can take the contrast sensitivity curve. It modifies pictures with EyeView and you can take the picture of this patient's quality of vision in terms of contrast and relate it to norms or the previous visits.
