Contact Stereo Optical to learn more about ophthalmology testing using vectographic projector slides.
Vectographic projector slides by Stereo Optical are useful for a variety of ophthalmology testing applications related to stereo vision. Stereo vision tests are an important part of complete vision testing, and with high-quality Stereo Optical vectographic projector slides, ophthalmologists and other vision testing professionals can be assured of the most accurate test results possible. Stereo Optical vectographic projector slides are designed so that the projector can administer both basic acuity projector slide exams and vectographic exams without changing slides.
A vectographic projector slide stereo vision test is performed by presenting a different image to each of the test subject's eyes. The two images are complementary, and if the test subject has normal stereo vision, the two images should match up to create a single, coherent, three-dimensional image. By measuring and evaluating deviations from this ideal in a test subject's vision during ophthalmology testing, the tester can diagnose a variety of diseases and conditions of the eye, including various refractive errors. Diagnoses are completed with the aid of subjective evaluation on the part of the test subject.
Like all Stereo Optical products, including our standard vision testing projector slides, these vectographic projector slides benefit from exceptional precision construction. Each slide is made of high-quality photographic film, and is sealed between two sheets of glass to allow for precise isolation of the vectographic image.
Our vectographic slide line includes the following slides:
