FVA™ - Discovery — Pupil Measurement Under Identical Conditions as Mesopic F.A.C.T.® Contrast Sensitivity Testing

FVA™ - Discovery allows for pupil measurements to be taken under identical conditions to the Functional Acuity Contrast Test (F.A.C.T.®). Setting a new standard in visual assessment and treatment planning, FVA™ - Discovery from Stereo Optical Co., Inc., is a highly effective pupil measurement device that offers pupilometer measurements and a wide range of other vision tests. FVA™ - Discovery builds on the exceptional low-contrast-vision testing capabilities of the Functional Vision Analyzer™ and includes upgraded EyeView® Functional Vision Analysis Software, which enables the user to create a pictorial depiction of a patient's functional vision based on F.A.C.T.® data.

Also included with the FVA™ - Discovery is a personal computer and all necessary software. This allows the user to carry out a range of vision tests while controlling the FVA™ with or without the use of the control pendant. The PC also aids in test scoring, capturing pupil images, and pupil measurement via an incorporated pupilometer. Also included with this pupil measuring device is software-security and video-capturing hardware, a computer-to-FVA™ interface consisting of a modified pendant.
