The
offers a number of exams to evaluate functional vision and better understand the patient's quality of vision. Background illumination levels inside the unit are constantly monitored and controlled by eliminating environmental variables. The Functional Vision Analyzer™ complies with established research standards. This lightweight and portable unit is guaranteed for two years.

The Functional Vision Analyzer™ also features the new upgraded EyeView® Functional Vision Analysis Software that utilizes a digital image processor to procedure a pictorial model of the patients' functional vision based on their F.A.C.T.® contrast sensitivity data. EyeView® can also display contrast sensitivity curves as well as the raw data. Data can also be exported to excel files for analysis. Direct comparison of the patient's functional vision is displayed beside a model of normal functioning vision. The software allows for pre- and post-treatment comparisons. The Functional Vision Analyzer™ and EyeView® are useful in cataract and refractive practices to demonstrate functional vision, document visual disability, help establish and manage patient expectations for individual treatment options, and guide treatment decisions. All exam results are stored in a patient database. A variety of reports and data depictions are available for printing.
